Copilot Word Personalization

Microsoft is enhancing Copilot in Word with a Personalization mode that users can call if they want the AI model to mimic their response style.

The Personalization profile isn’t just any assistant but becomes your customized writing partner. Suppose an AI that not only assists in summarizing documents, rewriting texts, and generating ideas according to your needs but also personalizes responses according to your distinct preferences and interests.

Microsoft’s roadmap, which shows upcoming changes, just now revealed that this feature will be available in July 2024. It will be available if you are included in either Copilot Pro or Microsoft 365 subscription plans.

Personalization profiles allow users to customize the way Copilot responds to their prompts. It considers user preferences, interests, and other information to give users a more personalized experience.

Microsoft

Microsoft portrays this feature as moving swiftly from an empty page to a completed document, and in many ways, it is very similar to another feature that the Redmond-based tech giant recently unveiled: Copilot as a writing coach in Microsoft Word, which is also coming this month.

The two AI-based features will ensure that users never catch a break and run out of ideas. What do you think about the Personalization profiles in Copilot for Word? Are they enough? Let us know your opinion below.
