Microsoft Loop updates

Microsoft has added the customization of the in-app notifications feature for Loop tables and table template updates. This new element promises to bring more fluidity and productivity to teamwork while ensuring that important updates are not overlooked.

In the past, users needed a Power Automates license to automate notifications. This was quite useful and secure, but now Microsoft has provided an additional method that is not dependent on having a Power Automates license. You can now arrange these notifications in the app, guaranteeing that your team is kept informed without any added obstacles.

In a blog post, Microsoft says the process of creating these notifications is very simple. You must go to a Loop page with a table or board, locate the “…” menu in the Operations bar, and select the Rules option. Then, choose your triggers and conditions for when notifications should be sent out – you are all set to ensure your team stays informed. It’s similar to having your team of small assistants who always remember everything for you.

In our quest to enrich this functionality and extend its benefits to all our users, we’re excited to share that you can now activate in-app notifications to keep your team updated, even without a Power Automate license.

If you’re a project manager, you can establish rules that will alert you directly in Loop when someone marks a task as done.

This update isn’t a small change; it’s a big deal for people using Microsoft Loop. By improving how notifications work and making them easier to adjust, Microsoft is making Loop an important tool for teams that want to make their work smoother and keep in touch more effectively. Not too long ago, the Redmond-based tech giant enhanced the platform with expandable boards and new ways to organize data.

So why not experience how these fresh custom notifications enhance your team’s collaboration?
