Overwatch 2 fans out there, we have some good news: if you’re also part of the Microsoft Rewards program, expect something special soon. Since Microsoft took over Activision Blizzard in October 2023, much talk has been about how this big merger could affect the gaming world. Now, those who have been busy collecting their Microsoft Rewards points might be able to spend them well in the game.

The Microsoft Bing Dev X account recently shared a post that caused speculation. It suggests there could be something very significant for Overwatch 2 players who are also members of the Microsoft Rewards program.

Although we don’t have full information, the guessing game grows wilder than ever. Are we talking about special in-game items, cosmetics, or something else? It’s a mystery that only time will unfold, but one thing is certain: the moment to begin saving those points if you haven’t been doing so has arrived.

However, there is also a twist: while we wait for more news, there’s a rumor that Amazon Prime Gaming and Blizzard could end their special agreement about Overwatch 2 content. The Overwatch Cavalry X account said Amazon has chosen not to renew many promotions, such as those for skins in Overwatch 2, so Constable Tracer skin might become the final one under this deal.

It may be possible that Microsoft is coming in to take Amazon’s place, as they have hinted at a Rewards program for Overwatch 2. Though we can only guess what this program will offer, the enthusiasm is clear. Could this be the dawn of a new era for Overwatch 2 rewards? Speaking of the dawn of a new era, Microsoft Rewards will soon introduce notes as a new way to let those enlisted in the program know all the changes and improvements coming to it.

Whether you are a dedicated follower of Overwatch 2 or enjoy gathering Microsoft Rewards points, there seems to be much to anticipate. Now, what do you believe this big surprise will be? So, let’s cross our fingers and save up those points for what’s next in Overwatch 2.
