age of mythology retold beta

Age of Mythology: Retold is right around the corner, but if you can’t wait until September 4, there will be a secret beta testing phase from July 12th to 14th available only for those who pre-order Premium Editions. This new version of the beloved game is not only a reference to the past; it’s an actual resurrection, ready to launch on PC and Xbox Series X|S consoles starting September 4, thanks to World’s Edge and Microsoft.

For this quick look, you will jump directly into a lively situation. Begin with the Tutorial, shake off your rustiness, and then move on to the first five missions from the Fall of Trident campaign.

Would you like to have a skirmish or multi-player battle? The beta offers a variety of maps that reflect the variety in the complete game, even though it only has eight players.

If you are interested in mythology, this is your chance to control three powerful Pantheons: Greek, Norse, and Egyptian. You can summon mythological creatures and use godly abilities to defeat your enemies.

Now, if you are thinking, “How can I participate?” it is easy. Pre-order the Premium Edition at $49.99 from Steam or the Xbox Store, and that’s all you need to do.

It is not just a key to the beta; it also allows early entry into the game one week before it is launched and provides two upcoming expansion packs. If you are concerned about starting late in the beta phase, don’t worry! You can pre-order anytime and still have fun playing this version.

In this closed beta, developers are interested in getting feedback about various aspects, such as gameplay mechanisms, possible faults, and equilibrium problems. This is an opportunity to leave your mark on the game and guarantee it matches the reputation of its previous version.

If you didn’t get into the Age of Mythology: Retold Beta, a stress test might be available to all PC Steam players before the game comes out. It’s an opportunity for everybody to try it out and assist in testing how far the servers can handle it.
